Hi all! My name is Linda. I'm 33 and living in NYC currently, but in the next six months I'm going to be moving to Seattle. I'm happy to be making major life changes. I'm down from my biggest size ever (28 pant, 22/24 top) to a 24 pant, 14/16 top. My goal is to be size 10/12 (since I'm 5'9), but I'm not in a rush. I'd rather lose the weight slowly and keep it off forever.
I've been successful in changing my eating habits (shopping from the outside aisles of the grocery store, organic food, etc.) and trying to eliminate soda from my diet. Now, I need to focus on getting more and better exercise. I'm looking forward to the motivation of this board, and getting to know everyone.

I just got back from the Pacific Northwest and can't wait to get back.
Good for you for having a plan and knowing that slowly and safely is the best way to go!

I'm a big believer in colorful plates of food.
I'm working on the water consumption, because I generally don't like drinking it. And I'm doing 8 minutes of exercise three times a day, plus my walk to work (15 min, each way).
I'm very good about getting my 6-8 hours of sleep per night.
