I went swimming today and even had to share the lane. So, I get one right??? Pweassssssssssssssssseeeeeeeee???

All in all, It was a great swim even though I only had about 20 min in the pool. The elderly gentleman I was sharing a lane with was a real charmer. He said "Don't mind me I'm just doing a slow 50 laps." and scooted over to give me one side of his lane. Then when I was finishing and he was plugging away at it still. LOL He stops swimming and says "I hope I didn't go too fast for you." OMG I could have hugged him. What a doll baby. Anyway. I was a good girl today now if I can just get my tushie back on Fri.

Way to go on getting to the pool for your swim Sabrina, and how nice of that man to let you share his lane...see, there are nice people around still? ;-)

Keep it up, have a great Thursday and get ready for another swim on Friday!

>>>I may be old-fashioned but those were the days.<<<

Steffy...

I Totaly agree. I'm very old-fashioned and was raise to be somewhat or a "Southern Belle", because of this my 3 sons have been holding doors open for me since they were 5. LOL I'm awful. They all three also look for good things to say to me from time to time. Ie: Mommy you look pretty. Or I like your hair etc. They do a better job then even my husband and he's a doll, just a tad lax on the door thing. I've even started rubbing off on my 17yo step-son. We've had custody of him and his sister for 5 years now and he brings me home bagels from work several times a week and he's starting to get that whole door thing. :) The biggest complement I can give any of the "Men" in my house or otherwise is that of being a gentleman. So I'm doing my part to keep the breed alive.

OH, another cute elderly gentleman lives in our neighborhood. Let me just tell you I aspire to be this man when I get older. He has got to be in his late 70's on up. Every day rain or shine. All year long he walks our neighborhood in the morning. I have personally seen him do 3-5 miles cummulative. Not only does he get out there every morning, but he always says good morning to me on my runs and comments what a lovely day it is. To top off his adorableness he always is dressed in slacks with a fedora on his head. I mean you can't even make a character like him up.

How's your week going?

Steffy that sounds like pretty good news for your grandpa, will he have to go through more treatments?
