OMG!!! I weighed myself!!!

I'm new here and in my first post I estimated by weight at 130 and said that I need to loose about 20lbs....well, over the weekend I was cleaning and found my scale. I stepped on it and couldn't believe my eyes I'm 138!!! How could I have let myself gain so much!! I'm still in shock! Of course, I'll be weighing myself more frequently now because I think this will put a fire under my a...! I have my water handy today and I'm drinking. I can't take a walk at lunch like I wanted because it's raining but I do plan to get on the treadmill tonight! I have more work than I thought!

Bad scales....baaaad scales!!
First off, well done on continuing with your cycling class....in time you will get results. Patience is something we all have to deal with on this one! With regards to the scale....try not to be a victim of it! As Stef said; now you know what you're up against...work with it. Set a day aside in the future to step on that scale again, but try not to use it everyday- it can be disheartening!

I'll let you in on a little secret... being afraid of the gain that I can 'feel' ~ is keeping me far, far away from my scales for the past couple of weeks!! : )
