Sleep vs. Exercise

Here's a question I've been pondering over... which is more important: sleep or exercise? For example, if one had to choose between getting 6 hours of sleep and minimal exercise, vs. getting 5 hours of sleep plus a good hour of workout daily... which would be better?

Would appreciate any comments and thoughts on this subject!

I will tell you this, and this is the honest to god truth, exercise, is JUST as important as sleep.

In other words, lets say you went all out, and lifted weights, and worked your WHOLE body. All would be for nought, if you did not get enough sleep to help your muscles recover.

Nutrition, Diet, Exercise, AND sleep is the key. If one of these is missing, then, well, your efforts will be compromised.

I hope this helps.

I agree with Sediqua-- and if it had to be a choice for me I would opt for the sleep vs the exercise. "They" say that even 20mins of exercise each day can be just as

In my case, I don't have time to exercise, except at night, so it means I don't get to bed until one hour later than I would like. So I choose exercise over sleep, but only out of necessity!
