Hourglass, pear, ruler, cone....
Is your upper body the part that needs more work? Your mid-section? Your lower half? Or everywhere?
Here's a quiz I found and took just to see what it said about me.

I figured I was a 'cone' (which the quiz said I was). When it came to recommending exercises for my 'body type' they kind of stayed away from most upper body workouts, and focussed on more lower body- but that end of me is fine..... I want to lose & sculpt my upper half, along with tone my lower end! I guess I know what works for me, regardless of the advice I read.
See what it says about you....and let us know if you think....

It was nice to hear that rulers do well in long distance running and swimming, since I am triathlon training now.

New and improved siggy coming soon (which could mean after Christmas)
Although before I took the quiz I knew I was an hourglass. However, that whole body image thing I love the top half of my body and always even though I'm slim hate my lower body. So It's interesting that I answered the questions in such a way that I was catalogued as a Spoon. Then I read all the spoon information and was like that's not me. The big thing was the measurements Mine are 34b, 23, 35. Not 31 24 40 or some number and I have really slim ankles and no extra weight around my knees. SOooooooooo I retook the quiz and answered not with my mind but with my real measurement facts and came up you guessed it an hourglass.
I find it very telling that the way I percieve my body in truth is not the way my body looks. Did Anyone else do that?

Dolli~ you're doing really well on prepping for your triathlon...I'm sure you'll do superb! And it's good to hear that because of your 'body type' you'll do well!
Sabrina~ you know your comment is kind of why I posted this in the first place. Though I know I'm mosly cone shaped (thanks to the mammeries passed on by Grandma!) I found the suggestions a little strange. So, yep I think I did come to my own conclusions

Certified Hourglass here as well.
Fear
I'm a spoon.
I'm a ruler..and had been told that before.
My main goal has always been to be fit & tone, not necessarily to change the number on the scale.
It's good to be back!

Kerstin~ maybe the quiz is better to suited to particular body types...in any case glad you found it interesting!
Miranda~ did you notice if there was a pear over there? Maybe they are using different words for the same thing...KWIM? I agree sounds like a spoon and pear would be the same!
Steffy~ glad you found it to be spot on for you! As for your butt getting (apparently) bigger- it could just be getting more toned ;-)
Susan~ GREAT to see you here again! Hope things are well for you, if you get a chance post up a *news report* post for us! You know your comment about sugar (ie. any food) is so true too. It's not just exercise that helps, right? Looking forward to seeing you around again!
Trish~ funny when you see and read something that reminds you of yourself how it can motivate you! I love reading those 'success stories' some of them are so inspiring! Hope your motivation continues...
Ladies, thanks for taking the time and posting your results and thoughts ~IG
