Well this Saturday I awoke to a beautiful snow covered world. Then I had to go and shovel the sh*t.

I guess this would be me if it weren't for the gym.

Wow, I have been thinking it was going to snow here anytime, but nothing yet.You cracked me up. About a year and a half ago, dh had the "snip, snip". Wouldn't you figure, that weekend we had a blizzard that dumped 3 FEET of snow. No kidding. Well, I definitely got my workout that!
I usually just work out on my mill, but I gotta figure something out. If I leave it in the garage, where it is right now, then it will be very cold. Once it heats up and then cools down again I may end up with condensation in the motor, which means rust. That wouldn't be good!
As for skiing, I have lived here 20 years in Denver, and Never Once Been Skiing! I am pathetic! I swear to go this year! We'll see....
And one thing they always say and have said about Colorado, "if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes, it will change".

Not me....but I have to deal with the heat at the end of the summer, like right now- so the opposite, lol!

Does the weather vary quite a bit in your area?
Not too much-
Summer can be hot, but there's usually a gentle breeze making it just about bearable!
Fall gets *hot*....dead air (and the chance of hurricanes too!)
Winter- I love it! The weather is ideal then. Nice ~tropical~ breezes with a temperature around 80F, and enough rain to keep things looking healthy.
Spring is ok....but you can feel those breezes easing off.

Is there something exercise wise that you only do in winter?
(okay, skiing I know, LOL)??.....
you taking me on vacation Miranda? LOL!!
Walking in the park, comfortably ;-)

For those that don't know I live down in the Virgin Islands...

Usually I tend to go back indoors. I TRY to do things outdoors, during the cooler months, cuz it's just nicer. BUT, then you get the too hot days and the too cold days. lol. I can't run when I feel like I've eaten a mint and trying to breathe.

Oh yeah. We have our summers which can reach the high 90's and our winters that reach the high 30's. And yes, I'm being sarcastic. I live in SoCal, for the most part, during fall and spring does it VARY, and that's usually in one day. And only about 20 degrees, that's when I get sick. lol

Um, what's snow? Is it that white stuff someone was talking about shoveling? lol. No, nothing that I "only" do in the winter. Same old stuff year round, and you wonder why I get so bored.

The start of winter can be mild, so walking is still okay as long as it isn't icy.
