Boo Yankees!

Whatever, they played like bums the last 4 games and didn't deserve to win and I'll be excited next year to try to further rebuild this team.

And, boo, AF came this morning! Actually, I'm totally ok with this too. I seriously believe that with some of the things going on at work right now, karma favors waiting a couple more months. Of course, I'll be traveling on business when I'm supposed to be ovulating, so hopefully I'll have some good news on this topic in a few months. It'll be fun trying, anyway!

Absolutely! I think that's part of why the Yanks combusted in last year's world series, too - they had gone all out to beat the Sox and it took everything out of them.

I also think that we face each other too many times during the regular season. It is kind of wacky that we face each other 19 times but see the Tigers, what, 6 tops? It's really lopsided and takes a lot of the fun out of it for me. DH has been writing scathing letters to MLB about how late the games are, how it is too late for Sam to stay up and watch (where is your next generation of fans if all the games are past their bedtime?), etc etc. I felt for fans in Houston and St Louis yesterday because they had no idea when their game would be played and it all depnded upon the outcome of game 6 vs the Yankees and the Sox. How do you make arrangements for yourself, work, childcare, etc when you don't even know when gametime is? It's lame.

I am excited to see who wins tonight. I'm pulling for the Astros. I think the Sox would enjoy facing Clemens in the World Series.
