Hi Cher...

What does your Lunch time look like? I haven't a clue where you work but is there a gym nearby? Or one available at work? If not move your Walks to your lunch hour (fit in a meal replacement bar after your workouts for sustanence)and save the after hour time for going to the gym. It's just a mater of learning when in your day you have breaks and making the most of them. :)

Good Luck

First off- both Miranda & Sabrina have given some great words of wisdom ;-)

I know for me- morning is not an option, lol! Neither is lunch- I need that relaxing time! I try to get my exercise in under my belt shortly after getting done with work.

But to answer your specific questions....

How do you balance it?
I do what I can to be honest, and some days are better than others!
Do you have a schedule and try to stick to it?
Yes, like I said I try to get my walking (or whatever) right after work and do my best to stick to it. My planner seems filled to the brim with meetings, conferences and other *functions* so I'm not too sure how the next couple of weeks are going to be!

Cher,

I am a Mommy and I work FT. It IS difficult to balance! I exercise after my son goes to bed (around 8:30.) I would often rather curl up in bed with a good book, but once I start exercising, I usually feel pretty good. How do I balance? I almost never watch TV anymore, I sleep less, I read fewer books, and I have no social life. Sounds fun, huh? Well, my goal is to work out at least 5x per week, and it actually relaxes me and makes me feel better. I've found that I'm just not as disciplined an eater as I would like to be, though I eat really well most of the time. But working out a lot allows me that little bit of extra freedom so if I eat a few too many cookies, etc. I don't feel like I've totally fallen off the wagon. Good luck and keep us posted on ways you are finding to balance your life more.
