First of all, welcome Laurie, it looks like there are a lot of ladies "on the ball".

That's too funny. I know sometimes I just want to say "shut the -um yeah- up" to my TV video instructor, whoever it is, when she's all perky and perfect, but I guess you're right. a "You Shouldn't Wear Spandex" series wouldn't sell too well.

OMG! My long lost friend...my first ever internet buddy (and still the BEST)!!! I can't believe it's you, either! I actually thought about you the other day and felt so awful for losing touch with you.

Please do e-mail me through my profile. I'd LOVE to play catch-up and learn what you have been up to!

I so agree! I can't get in to her tapes. I got 3 that i could not stand. The only ones i liked from her are the Upper & Lower body toning.

It is odd because I think she it great on tv interviews and the articles she writes and posts here are great. I think i am put off by the music and steps.

I love Karen Voit & Gilad. Denise Austin is good to start with but gets irritating.

But this is just my opinion.

I've seen the name Karen Voit twice now I think on these posts. Are her workouts easy to follow? I want to workout, not invest in learning a compicated routine. I know there's some stuff to learn in new workouts, but I need stuff that makes sense.

Well that's why I like her because it's not very complicated. I bought a firm step video once and the moves were so complicated I went back to my old step tape.

I like Karen Voigt she's great, her Streamline fitness is easy to follow and gets you in good shape. Also anything from beach body fitness has been good, I've purchased Power 90 and Slim in 6 and both sets of tapes ROCK with easy to follow moves that pretty much kick your ass.
