Hi all...
The last two weeks have been insane, so I thought I'd do a general update of the highlights and I hope everyone else will do the same:
Training:
Last week I ran 11.5 miles and biked 32 miles unfortunately No situps or pushups because I could never work them into my day and since I've been working on playground plans and everything else I have been just falling into bed in the PM. This week is going great Triathlon wise, I have already run 6 miles and biked 10, I'm about to go on a 16 mile bike ride so you can bump that total up to 26. Still however, No sit ups or push ups. LOL I feel like such a challenge failure. On the bright side, I'm having a blast with my training partner we meet 2-3 times a week and run or swim so that I have some accountability. She and I have a lot in common and Considering before kids she was a true athlete and quite fast, I'm sure once she gets used to running again she will be able to help me with my speed. I did manage to run 3.2 miles at the park Sun while the kids were playing in 29 minutes. I was shocked. O and I think I may have lost a little weight, I put on my slacks last night to go to a meeting and they were loose. I refuse to get on the scales until after the holidays though because I know I'll have no motivation to eat right until after Turkey day and Christmas. I'm so bad.
Life:
The past two weeks, I've been focused on the Elementary Schools Publishing center, We have had a ton of student books come in and we are going to be the corner stone of the Authors Night in January so I've had planning meetings to attend and templates to design. Next planning meeting this Fri. Also, I've been focused on the Playground Commitee phase plan which is to be presented this Fri. I've got all the information I just have to sit down and draw out a time line and some visual plans. Which should make Fri Morning very intersting considering I have a 2nd grade play sandwiched in there somewhere. LOL Last night I had a Make A Wish Foundation Meeting, Our teen had a powderpuff game (not playing spectating) and One of the youngest is working on his first book report, so needed his hand held a bit. Thank goodness for schedules because I was able to work it all out well enough to get dinner cooked before I left. I feel so quilty if I leave for a meeting at night and don't manage to make dinner first. I know it's stupid. :)
Ok Everyone tell me what you've been up to... Brag/Whine/Scream or Just ramble.

Miranda- thanks for your kind words. You know it's only a few of the parents that drive me up the walls, around the bend and over the see-saws.....the rest of them are wonderful!
Sounds like you're up to your eyes too at the moment. Sorry to hear about the non-chalant employees you have around you, I know the type only too well. Meanwhile we pick up the slack. Hopefully it doesn't go unnoticed!
With regards to Matt.....in a year and a half (I'm presuming you'd do it at the beginning of a school year) is that a change in schools (ie. the difference with Middle/High school)? That timing is fine for a change, in my opinion. I can understand your worries about changing schools as you changed schools often ..... but once or twice in your school career can work to the child's benefits. I would suggest finding out as MUCH as you can about the other school, and even start seeing if you can Matt over there in one of their clubs or something. So he can begin to make friends with some of the other kids, know what I mean?
In any case- here are some HUGS HUGS HUGS that things for you and him get easier soon.

WHOO HOO!!!
I love watching the kids. About six kids from our "sister" school who are competing in a tournament this weekend did their creative form routines for Master Johnson last Saturday. One of the girls has a killer high front jump kick. They hit the splits with no problem too.
Obviously, I love training. I think it's great for kidos. I wish my sister could train, but there's no place close to them up north in the boonies really.
Good luck to you both with the academic progress.
Hi, Ladies!
Here's my check in:
Exercise - none. NONE!
Food - been eating impulsively and without regard for nutritional content, carbs, fat, etc.
Life - Feeling a little out of control. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just life. Sometimes I cope better than other times I guess. It's just that when one thing feels like it's out of control, everything else seems to fall like dominoes. Then, I'm not just dealing with one area, I'm trying to get a handle on everything. I'm trying to psych myself up for getting back on track. I was doing so well at the beginning of the year. I know I can do it again. Just need to set small goals and take baby steps. I still struggle with the fertility issue. I know that plays a big part in things. I know I was doing well with fitness and diet for a bunch of months, but got discouraged because I still wasn't getting pregnant. It's so hard to let go of that, but I'm trying really to make my focus health and well being instead of conception. That way I won't get discouraged so much and I'll stay on track. I think I'm mad at my body for letting me down and I'm not inclined to be nice to it. Bad attitude. I know. I'm coming around. Once I get back into exercising, I'll feel TONS better and I won't want to stop. I would like to check in this weekend with a report of exercising. That would be a step in the right direction.
Debbie
Good to see you Debbie- and sending {HUGS} your way. Sorry to hear things are higgledy-piggledy for you at the moment...I know what you mean about the domino affect.
Take those baby steps and slowly things will begin to look (and feel) better.
Hope you're having a great weekend ~IG
