Aye Carumba! That's alot of math...LOL! I think I did it right.
I think with your added commitment you will second guess the bad choices while they are still choices. Good luck, we all need some of that these coming weeks!!

I'm right there along side you Miranda!! I know we can do this-- I've never been one for the whole calorie counting thing, being aware of what's going in is just simpler for me (and perhaps a little lazy too...) but after a couple of mistakes

Looks like I need to exercise AND eat only about 1500 cals. I'm sure I'm going over. I should calculate it all once and see.

Bleah.

I'm really aiming for the gym tonight. yay.

"I've been very, very lazy in terms of trying to get me eating under control."

I totally understand that - I've been letting my average calorie intake per day creep up.

Miranda, I'm going to ask a question that I've really learned lately to ask...how much of that "weight" is muscle? I weighed in at the Dr.'s office recently at about the same weight as you, which is more than I have ever weighed (not including pregnancy.) But I've been gaining so much muscle lately. My abs are flatter than they have ever been and I'm a size 6. My Dr. was amazed that I weighed "so much," and she kept saying that the scale couldn't be right. But I really think most of what I've gained is muscle. Could that be the case with you? In other words, maybe you're beating yourself up over something that really isn't that bad.

OK, I finally did the calculation and if I want to lose 2 lbs./week, I need to consume around 1300 calories per day.

Well Sylvie, I think some of it IS muscle, BUT I also know that muscle doesn't jiggle.
