Formula results 1453

Quiz results 1400

BUT

Here's my problem with it...the "quiz" doesn't account for any sports or physical activity.

Well I haven't taken the test yet, waiting for it to load- but from what I remember my number was 1400....and with the formula you gave it was 14-something!

Let's double check ;-)

To Lose 1 pound per week: 1662.25
To Lose 1.5 pounds per week: 1412.25
To Lose

The AMR to lose 2 lbs a week for me was 1608.47, the quiz resulted in the 1600 calorie plan.

That's an excellent point. Also, if you have built muscle, it will boost your metabolic rate, and you will burn fat throughout the day. So let's just say you are working like crazy to build muscle in the "jiggle zones." You are actually attacking the jiggle in different ways: firming and toning the jiggle with resistance training, boosting your metabolic rate by building more muscle, and burning calories while resisitance training. Therefore, you don't have to limit your caloric intake quite so much.

Well, you could always go about it the reverse way. There are formulas which guess at your body fat % based on your height, weight, age, and exercise level. Some include measurements, which is even better. I will find one that I saw and copy the link to this board. Then you could goal yourself on body fat % rather than weight.
p.s. I happened to see the stats on a very attractive model who was not much taller than us and weighed 135 lbs. She had a 26" waist and 34" hips...so where was she carrying all her weight?
