I figured, I'd get on the scale one last time before I go crazy with school, work, and working out. lol.
Can you believe that the weight I lost 2 years ago, and kept off for 1.5 has come back in the past few months? AUGH! That's 10 pounds.
I'm so VERY upset. Bleah. Now, I need to lose 10 MORE pounds....on top of my much needed 25lbs. ugh. I knw it may not seem a lot ot some of you, but I've been stuck here for awhile. bleah.
Hugs to everyone. I just needed to vent. I wanted to cry.

Cher- honey! Those damn scales!! If we look at this and try to find the positive in it; the positive could be MOTIVATION. Right? I stepped on my scales after about a 3 week hiatus from them and was surprised to see it had gone up too. Well, not really surprised, more disappointed I suppose. So I know how you are feeling.
We just have to find it within ourselves to step up to the plate and DO IT! I know I might sound a little like a drill sergeant here, but I'm talking to myself too.
Have you got a plan?
Where can you start making changes, today?
Let's do it--- and face 2005 with confidence! You with me?
{{{HUGS}}} sent your way ;-)

Don't wait for your "ship to come in" and feel angry and cheated when it doesn't.
Get going with something small.

So true, when you have don't have what some would consider a lot to lose, it seems to take forever. I understand being stuck. I have been working to drop about 20 lbs, especially around my waist. I just don't know where that little roll around the middle came from! The November challenge did seem to help firm that area a bit though.
And now the holidays are upon us. I didn't have too much problem with my eating habits over the Thanksgiving holiday, but it was a bit harder to find the time to workout.
I just read that doing a 45 minute cardio 4 or 5 times a week instead of the recommended 30 minutes 3 times a week can help. I'm going to try to make time this holiday, if it means changing my schedule to do a morning workout or whatever. I am also going to try to keep doing the crunches at least every other day.
We'll get it done, and we'll look and feel good in 2005.
Good Luck

Well Cher, there is no such thing as "not a lot" when it comes to weight loss.
Fear
Cher...I'm so sorry to hear about your gain!
Thanks you guys. And this is the reason I won't be leaving completely. lol. I need your support!!!!
To answer a few questions........yup, I do plan for too much and then feel overwhelmed. Also, I am going to set up a plan. But not a BIG one, just a bit, but alos, this IS motivation.
Unfortunately, I can't start this week as I planned. Ugh. Work actually has me working. lol. I
Cher, I'm sending you loads of hugs!!!!!
Well, I did do my goal of less soda, so that's good. right now, my food goal is LESS sweets. During this time, dbf craves more and more sweets, which is normal. and well, i just eat with him. diff is, he eats healthy during the week, I don't really. so i gain, he doesn't.
my goal is to walk/run at least 2-3 times during the week, for a MIN of 15 minutes. i figure, it's little enough that I won't go on overload, and it'll get me into the HABIT of working out.
btw, again, I only have like 2 months before school starts, and once that does, there goes working out m-th. so, it kinda sucks. i need to lose as much as i can before then. at least that'll make me feel good. cuz as soon as feb comes around, i won't have any time.......except friday after work, saturday, and MAYBE sunday, and fit in homework somewhere.
ugh! too much again. hence, i wanna lose what i can before then. I'm aiming to be down to 130 oops.
Sorry about your gain, Cher. I know it can be a shock to see the scale saying something you aren't prepared for :-) Like Stef said, baby steps. You'll get there!
~Laurie
I'm not weighing again until end of Phase 1!
