I m 5' 5''. I weigh 120-122 Lbs.
I ve been 116 Lbs before and I felt great but this was after 6 months of exercising at least 3 times a week.

I checked with a nutritionist and online and found the ideal weight is 120-125 lbs. But for some reason I feel my ideal weight is 115-117lbs. Could it be because I have a small frame?? I always thought my friend was thinner than me but she told me she is 10 pounds heavier (she is half an inch taller) eventhough "I think" she looks slimer?
Is it Frame size or body shape? I can say I have a very slim waist but big (inner) thighs espeically when I m at 122Lbs.

Hey Julia, I definitely think it could have something to do with body frame size.

Body shape does play into it some. Supposedly, hourglass figures carry their weight the best. Also, our "ideal" weight is sometimes based on what we weighed when we were younger. In my case, I will never weigh 107 again, but I know I always compare myself to that.

Hi Julia- I too agree with the others, I think your frame does play into weight and definately into comparisons with others of similar weight. I know several people who weigh the same as me, but we have different sizes (of clothes) and shapes!! I think Miranda's point of perhaps needing to tone up certain areas is a great one to take into consideration. As we get older it is a fact of life that we gain some weight- now how much is definitely within our own control!

Good Luck, and welcome to the 30's board- hope to see you around in the future ~IslandGirl
