What a busy past couple of days! I'm glad to have a moment to myself to stop by and check on things here. Seems like for-ever since I've been posting!

I hope everyone had a peaceful Christmas. I spent mine with good friends. There was great food- but I will say I did pretty well at restricting myself. Though I did try almost a little of everything!!

My parents got in last night, and are still sleeping.....

What's everyone doing for their

I"m around.

TOday, I was awake at 4 am, got up at 4:30 and worked out. I like the 15-minute workouts with Tamilee Webb.

No New Year's plans carved in stone. I was invited to a party, but I live farther away now, and don't want to drive so far especially when it's New Year's. So I may stay home and that's fine with me. I don't like to get out much on New Year's Eve unless I'm staying close by.

Sounds like you have a great New Years Eve planned. I hope you have a good time.

I'm back from the frozen north(ern Michigan), althouth southeastern lower Michigan isn't that much warmer, supposed to be 50 by New Year's Eve. After overnight temps below zero, people will be out in shorts.

I might get to spend New Years Eve with my BF. We haven't been able to do that before, without the nasty sister of his being around.

I'm a bit down about the new year. Mom has to have a cardiac cath on Jan. 7. She's in her early 60s so all should go well for her in the long run if they can take care of any problems early, but after having lost her mom and her only brother this year, this is not good news for us to start 2005. My sis, Lez, called me last night crying. I try not to worry about it too much, but I am. Seems heart disease is so prevalent in mom's side of the family. She hasn't been one to sit around either. She has been almost as active with my two adopted sisters as she was with Lez (Lesley) and I when we were their ages.

Perhaps after this is over in January, mom can work toward strengthening her heart, and the year will be better.

Hi IG! So your parents are visiting from Ireland? How nice! I am working thru Thursday...I'm so jealous of you and my DH being off for a REAL Xmas break. NY Eve I'm having close relatives over to my house. Dad and Stepmom will spend the night, and we'll have "traditional New Mexico food." And, of course, plenty of champagne or margaritas!

Hi there! I haven't been around in a LOOOOOONNNNGGGG time, however, I do think of y'all often! We had a great Christmas, no stress, lots of family and fun! (I won't mention how many pies we had) LOL I am looking forward to 2005. I have started exercising a little bit each day and I am feeling much better. Now my next goal is to get on the Water Wagon!!!
I hope to be stopping by more often in the next few months! Have a safe and happy New YEAR!!

Susan

I'm here! Christmas was a lot of fun with my family. My three year old daughter was thrilled that Santa came and watching her excitement on Christmas morning was wonderful. :-) I did pretty good with keeping the goodies within reason. However, now I'm having trouble avoiding the left overs. All the cookies are getting taken to work tomorrow to share with my coworkers. I don't want anymore!!!

I think I'm going to do a short triathlon in Sept 05. I'm excited and hopefully it'll be just the motivation I need to get myself back to the gym.

Hope everyone has a nice New Years! I'll be at home with dh, dd and friends who live across the street. I like staying home on New Years Eve. Boy, I must be getting old! lol.

Happy to see everyone is having some fun for the Holiday season...albeit a little stressful and treat-filled fun, but hey... it IS the Holidays!

I had not checked a computer in over 5 days until yesterday.

Glad to see so many people stopping by in the last couple of days....I know we all have alot of other stuff going on so I wanted to say thanks for stopping by, saying hello and filling us in on your latest news!

I have been having some connection problems over the last couple of days, not quite sure what the problem is. So if I seem a little MIA, that's the reason!

Best Wishes for 2005
