I am 31 have two kids 11 & 9.am 5'6 and weigh 178 size 14.
I work in an insurance ageceny do i am behind a desk from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Before having kids i was 130 and size 8. My goal is to get to at least 150.
I am not easily motivated. I actually went and bought a Gazelle about 6 months ago and used it about 8 times total. I told myself i was gonna lose weight and then yeah right, when to find the time between Karate, working, 2 dogs, taking car of the house etc. Now it lies under my bed not being used. I need motivation of some sort.
Any suggestions from people would be greatly appreciated.
The new year is almost upon us again. Time again to say the resolution to lose weight but would actually like to do it this year. Good luck to anyone trying to lose. It is Tough.

Keep a food journal and an exercise log. I printed out a butterfly and colored a section for everyday I stuck to my promise. My goal was to have the butterfly colored in by the end of each month. Good luck

I know exactly what you mean. I've restarted exercising so many times that I've lost count. I'm married with 3 children and work full time. My latest project is "8 Minutes in the Morning". I like this one because it seems simple enough for me. Even I can get up 8 minutes earlier. I never stick with complicated programs that require too much counting, food prep time and writing every single thing down.
As far as motivation, I think the biggest issue should be our health. How we look should be second. Your best motivation is to live long and healthy for your children. What is it they want in a mommy? I hate that I use to constanlty tell my children that "I'm too tired." I did that for about a year. Even when I did go outside to play, I'd loose my breath quickly and sit down to rest. The stronger I get the longer and harder we can play, which is not only great for me, but also gets them moving!
I hope this helps. We're here for you.

Seriously....I'll be doing something similar in the next couple of days! You know I've decided that I did spend ALL this $$$ on these things- I better USE them!!

You're right- this can be tough....but let's try our best and have a super new year!
