for Monday 001/03/05???
Today I went to the store and got myself some healthy snacks and drinks for work so hopefully I won't do something stupid at lunch. For example go to Wendy's and get value meal.
I got myself some water, V8 Splash diet, Slim Fast replacement meal (low carb), grapes, apples, carrots. Also, got some trail mixes and some pistachios. I know there is some debate about nuts but I was reading it is good fat the kind that's good for your heart. I'm gonna give them a try and I figure they have to be better than chips and soda. If I quit soda and chips nuts should be better right??? This can be so complicated. *sigh*
Now I really haven't't developed an exercise plan. This is my biggest challenge. The only think I have in mind is I'm going to have to plan out my evenings more strictly. Blech!! I get home at 5:30 like to be in bed no later than 10:00. So I guess I should have plenty of time to work something out. Any suggestions?

I too plan to make a big shopping trip, looking for fresh veggies and fruits. It's a bit tough in the MI winter, but I'll try to get as much fresh stuff as I can afford to get.
I need to get back to drinking water here at work. I was doing so well with that, but BF keeps bringing me stuff, some good and some not so good, orange juice and chocolate milk...
I told my parents I wanted a steamer for Christmas, and they got me one. It's nice, two stackable trays and a rice bowl. when i go to the store I will look for broccoli and stuff to put in my new steamer.
As far as exercise, I have Hap Ki Do to keep me motivated. I workout when I'm not in class too, weights and cardio to keep building my endurance for class. But there are so many fun and interesting options out there, I'm sure you will find one that fits your tastes and schedule.

I have a LOT to do to get ready for the New Year!
Lorie, another good cooking appliance is a rotissirie. My DH got one for x-mas and gets rid of a lot of that fat in meat and food comes out pefect almost every time. Ours even has a steamer up top for veggies.
Hmmm, work out clothes. Might have to go out and get some might inspire me a little. Thanks for the idea.
I also got some new journals to start the new year with one to keep track of food and fitness. Boy I hope I can get with it Monday!
You'll be able to get with it Monday. The change of year is such a good time for change or whatever, a whole year with opportunities and possibilities.
Thanks for the info on the rotissirie. I like small appliances that I can use on the counter top and make good, healthy meals with. I'll have to look into that. Of course, my birthday is in March so maybe I could drop some hints.
