Today was first day at gym (m)

I used 4 machines for my legs and that was it because I wanted to start out slow. I got home, and my left knee was killing me! I remember when I used to go to the gym in my mid-20s, I would never get sore! But now it's so different as a 31 year old ;) I signed up for a personal trainer session to just help get me started. I just want to make sure I have proper form and don't get hurt. I've been away from the gym for 5 years - it's been way too long!

Good for you for getting back to the gym. I think it's a great idea to work with a personal trainer. Let me know how that works for you. I would like to try it, to make sure my form is correct and to gain some advice for targeting certain areas.
