hey girls,
How about this. Does anybody feel deprest (Poor spelling) when they are "eating healthy" and trying to live a healthier lifestyle? I do. I feel like I lost my best friend. It's only been a week since I started this healthy lifestyle!!!!!! You would think I haven't had a treat in three years! It is really silly. And, all I think about is my diet, food, my body.......it's maddening. I want to lop my head off. Am I crazy, or is there someone else who feels this way.

You're probably going through withdrawls!! (And thinking about it too much) I know there are times when we crave things when 'watching' what we're eating....some people allow themselves a 'cheat day' or even just a treat at the end of the week. Maybe that's something to think about so you don't feel so deprived.
Best Wishes for 2005

I really started to change the way I eat last September (after seeing the pictures from camping trip of me in swim wear - lol) after deciding that exercise alone wouldn't cut it for my health.

In the beginning, I felt that way. I think sometimes people concentrate so much on what not to eat that begins to bug them. Two things: first, you do get used to eating healthy foods, and second, you actually begin to enjoy the way you feel when you do eat better stuff.

Hang in there. It gets better. And, when the time comes that you just "need" a treat, have a little something and enjoy it.
