I started exercising again this past week, yesterday I did the strength training Walk Away the Pounds tapes and played outside with the kids building a snow man and igloo(okey, they were't crazy on the igloo idea so I built it hmphs) anyways, today my leg muscles are screaaaaaaming sore, talk about a wake up call to how out of shape I really am! Feels great to feel something though :) Anyone else starting a new exercise program this year?

yup. trying any way.
My knee started bothering me and my back is acting up. The damp weather is effecting me.

But I will succed in starting exercising. I will start slow though. I don't need any more damage. ;)

I am adding running to my workouts this year. I hope to increase my endurance and drop some more weight as well. I never thought I could be a runner, so I am going to try it. I'm going to sign up for a 5k run/walk in May with a friend who is one of those size 2 people who rarely exercises. It should be fun and will give me something to work toward.

Good for you for starting to exercise again. The people on this board have a lot of good ideas and advice. We're all working on our health and fitness toghether.
