When is the best time and what to wear?

I hope this doesnt sound silly but......When is the best time to exersize? I have a hard time getting motivated in the mornings and the only time I can be alone without being bothered by kids is at night. Do I do my workouts at night before bed? Also, can I just wear something comfortable w/ or w/out shoes?
I havent done any sets as of yet but I want to start asap.
Hope those werent too silly of questions to ask ;)
Jen~

To me any exercise is good exercise if I get it done. I liked that my Pilates tape says bare feet, Im more comfy that way. I think (not sure) that mornings are the best time but I say that anytime you can fit it in is going to benefit you.

Hi Jen,
I like exercise where I can go barefoot. The ones I love are yoga, pilates, and NIA. NIA is a form of dance exercise. They sell videos and hold classes all over the US. I don't think you have to own a $100 pair of shoes to get a great workout!
They say that working-out in the morning is best for your body, but frankly, whenever you can fit it in is best for your life! I've tried both morning, afterwork, and evening depending on my mood and schedule.
Good luck!

I do my pilates in bare feet or slipper socks when I'm cold.
Anything aerobic (taped show or stationary bike), I usually slip on a pair of sneaks for better support of my ankles & knees.
& I wear something comfortable, now it's usually sweatshirts & fleece pants.
I agree with the other posters, that any time you can fit in the exercise is a good time!!
I'm not weighing again until end of Phase 1!
Well depends on what kind of workout you're doing...obviously for walking you need shoes!!
If you know you aren't going to do it any time but at night then night is the best time for you! I do the walk away the pounds tape and enjoy those-I do them when the kids are behaving which can be any given time or not at all but I sure feel better physically and mentally after I get done. What type of exercise are you planning on doing?

Jen~ I have to agree with the others here- so long as you get 'any' motivation to workout- it's all good! Having said that I do think working out in the morning has more benefits to working out later in the day (just gets you starting your day off on
