Morning everyone!
Was just over at MSNBC the Today show front page had an article on Bob Green's book. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6794766/
I've read several different types of books. Dr. Phil's Self Matters. Okay I started it didn't finish it. lol And other ones regarding my mental frame of mind. I know this is mine and probably the majority of our stumbling blocks are mental. One reason I'm attracted to yoga is the mental/spiritual type philosophy. Not that I know a lot about it but it is definitely connected to body mind fitness.
Does anyone have any good recommendations for books or other type material that relates to the mind body connection theme?
The problem I have with these books is a lot of it I get and it all makes sense but can't translate it to my life for some reason. Stubbornness to look go of old habits or something. Or not wanting to deal with certain issues.
Anyway just curious about your thoughts on this.

Gretchen, Shape had a book out called Shape Your Life, and it was great.
Thanks! I'm definitely going to check
Great point! Have you ever noticed that when you're happy/content exercising, keeping yourself on track is A LOT easier than when things are haywire??? Just when you probably need the extra vitamins and movement-- you can't (don't want) do it!!
I'm going to look out for one the books you and Miranda mentioned. Thanks!

Exactly! And no matter how rational we are about the whole thing and even realize what the heck is going we still can't get it together. lol
