Hey ladies, as a recovering Magazine-a-holic, I'm wondering whether any of you buy the fitness magazines.

I subscribe to Oxygen and to Fitness.

I used to read Shape but it got too repetitive after awhile. I think Fitness is one of the best fitness magazines out there, don't know why I like Oxygen but I do, it's fabulous.

I love Shape because it isn't intimidating and they have a great feature every month were they feature a couple of women who have lost weight and gotten in Shape. They also have some beauty type articles, but not too many to seem like a regular women's mag.

I subscribe to Shape & Self, I have been reading Self for years, but just recently discovered Shape and now I love it too.

Also, I don't know why but Oxygen started sending me their magazine too. It's a little too much for me, but I have found some of the articles interesting and helpful.

I subscribe to Fitness magazine. I like the layout and I know where to find the features I like. I also looked at Health, but it was very similar to Fitness so I decided not to subscribe to both.

While BF watches golf or reads the papers when I visit him on Sunday afternoon, I can read my latest issue. Works out pretty well.

I get Shape. I'd like to try Fitness but I thought it was a bit expensive. I like magazines like Shape that give exercise picture cards with descriptions. It helps to see what they're doing and how they're doing it. I searched the web and found a site that'd give 6 month subscriptions for free and you just cancel it before it expires to not be charged. I've found that if you search, you can cheaper subscriptions than if you went strait to the magazines website. You just need to do your homework on prices and how many issues are included in that price.

Hi Miranda

I rarely get them except when my motivtion lags... But I do love them My faves are

Shape
Self
Runners World
Triathle Magazine (ofcourse)LOL

and when I'm really feeling fiesty I get that body building one that Weider puts out. I get it so rarely I can't even think of the name. LOL They have some good articles on nutriton occassionaly but I'm not really into that whole swollen body look so I don't look at the pics.... Ok Maybe the butt shots. Those guys have some impressive Glutes.

Have a Great Day

......don't worry you're not the only magazine-holic around these parts, lol! I admit it, covers draw me in!!

I subscribe to HEALTH (have for about 3 years).....has a variety of things in it; from fitness, to taking care of yourself, to healthy foods, to success stories, and great articles.

I have however been known to purchase SELF, FITNESS, SHAPE, and some others I can't recall now. I try to clean out the magazine rack every 6 months....but that in itself can be hard to do. I have too many. I know! Thanks for the reminder- 6 months is up, lol!!!
