Words can not express how happy I am it is Friday.

How's the weather where you are?

---- It is about 2° - with the wind it is below 0°. Yippie i love the cold.

How do you feel about your past week?

---- Very good about food Monday to today. Exercise could have been better - slept in a few days but i can not expect my not active body to get up at 5:30 am every day to work out after it has been sleeping in for almost 20 years now could I.

Anything special going on this weekend for you?

---- nothing special. just want to get some projects done and work on my home work.

The weather is yucky - low 40's, gloomy and foggy almost every day lately.

This week was only so-so for me. Did really well Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday was the day I went in for a bone scan but also had my daughter home sick. Took her to the doctor and found out she had pinkeye, and strep throat/tonsillitis. Poor little one! So not much babysitting/daycare going on this week since she's been home and yesterday I spent most of the day on the couch. I was happy with myself last night though, I did a good 30 minutes of pilates after the kids went to bed.

This weekend is fairly quiet for us - I have a stamping class I'm teaching tomorrow afternoon so today will be all about prepping for that. After that, no plans. We're shopping for a new couch, so Sunday afternoon we may be hitting the furniture stores again....
Have a great weekend, everyone!

TGIF!! Another one here who thought Friday would never get here! My parents are going away for the weekend so I got to take a sick day from work to spend with my kids (my mom watches my kids while I work!). I am making them breakfast (but fat free yogurt with fresh blueberries for me!) and then going to Curves with my mom (they leave around noon) after I take the kids to school. Then I am going dress shopping for a corporate event tomorrow night I am attending with my boyfriend. If I don't freak out in the dressing room it will be ok!

I live in San Jose, CA so our weather is pretty nice although it was drizzily during the night.

I feel like I am on the right track this week though lots of room for improvement. If I can drink all of mywater today, I'll be pleased. I have a hard time drinking my water on the weekend..it seems much easier during work to keep it close but I have my bottles of water all ready to go! I am so glad I found this board!

How's the weather where you are? COLD (-3 this morning), but temps are supposed to be in the 30s this weekend so that will be nice

How do you feel about your past week? It was kinda tough. Today is our publisher's last day. We had his going away party last night. He was a good boss, and a friend to the six of us who worked for this newspaper before it was purchased last year. He's the third to leave since the new management took over. Four of us left, it's getting more lonely here.

Anything special going on this weekend for you? BF said we'll have "a good night tonight" so I'm looking forward to it. I have class tonight, but I hope BF's plans are for a quiet "good night." Other than that, I hope for some R&R this weekend.

Have a good one everyone.

It's here- the weekend- YAY!!!!

The weather here today has been idyllic- blue skies, turquoise seas and just enough breeze to keep us cool! Temp is around 80F, and looks like it's going to be much of the same for the weekend. I'll soak up some more vitamin D for you guys up north :-)

The week- two words- it's over!!! I think I did pretty ok considering I was fighting something off which finally hit me yesterday. I've gotten over the worst of it, and am thankful I can take the weekend to fully recuperate. We don't have children on Monday, we're having a teacher workday so that will give me one extra day without losing my cool, lol!

The weekend ahead looks quite fun actually. A friend of mine from Texas arrived in on Wednesday (which apparently I knew about, but I couldn't remember being told about- oops!) I haven't seen her yet and a few of us girls will be hitting the town tonight (I'll take it easy---- ) Tomorrow I plan on getting up relatively early and going for a walk and catching some rays in the afternoon. Then Bunny and I are meeting up tomorrow evening for some drinks. Sunday has no plans, as yet....but I'm sure something will be going on.

....and as for the rest of you-

Diane- enjoy catching up on your son's album. That sounds like something you could get lost in for hours- enjoy!

Robyn- I will send as many ~~~heat waves~~~ as I can for you! Keep up the good eating habits over the weekend! And take some you time in between chores and homework.

Kellyrae- what age do you teach stamping to? We used to have a class for that at our school, but the teacher has since left, and it's no longer offered. The kids really enjoyed it! Hope you find the couch you're looking for.

Dee- good luck with the hockey games this weekend. That will be a workout in itself! Let us know how you all do!

Kelly- so.....did you find a sexy little number for tomorrow's event?? Do tell! Hope you enjoyed your day *off* today!

Lorie- hope you and db have an enjoyable "good night" tonight.... and get some of that R&R you're looking for.

Miranda- I'll soak up some Vit D for you too--- hope you and the girls have a fun, fun night tomorrow! Don't forget to drink up that water before, during and after ;-)

weather: It has been freakishly warm here all week. The temps are between 60 and 45 degrees. Good for me though cause I am walking more. It is supposed to stay like this for a while.

last week: Last week was really good for me. I got off to a good start and I am figuring stuff out. Just need to get motivated to go to the step and Ab classes.

weekend plans: Yes, cleaning and scrapbooking. I had so much running around to do this week I will be on my knees this weekend. But that is a form of exercise too, right?
