How's the weather where you are?
-- around 59 (San Jose, CA) sunny and mild with sprinkles on and off.

How do you feel about your past week?
-- I was a good girl (no unplanned snacks, did all the planned workouts) and even survived two dinners with friends (!deserts) - event lost 1 lb. :)

Anything special going on this weekend for you?
-- getting a hair cut, putting a new workout playlist together for my iPod. Just a relaxing weekend!

It's Saturday, but I'm still gonna post. :)

For the weather..... It's cold, but at least the sun came out today. As they say here, if you don't like the weather in Texas, stick around for 5 minutes.... My past week was hectic. Work was pretty killer. It seemed like most days we didn't get a break at all. Then there was history class on Monday and Wednesday, but that's okay. I enjoy the class, and we're discussing the Renaissance, which is one of my favourite time periods. We spent about 20 minutes discussing the plague. *lol* Thursday was bust. Our English teacher didn't show up again, and we found out that he/she actually quit, and no one at the college cancelled the class or found a replacement. Nice. We did get a call from the Liberal Arts dean, however, and they have someone now who is going to teach the class, but we have already missed 2 classes. Hmmm. But I have been working out, and went to the gym twice to use the treadmills.

The only thing I have planned for this weekend was my visit to the gym to meet with a personal trainer. He was good, too, and totally got me working to muscle failure, but I can't afford to keep him. I had to drop $600 in tuition for this semester and another $200 in books, which means we are dirt poor until I get my financial aid payments.

Other than that, life is good......

How's the weather where you are? It has actually warmed up quite a bit. I think it got up to 25 yesterday! That is a lot better than the 10 degrees we've been having!

How do you feel about your past week? Not that great, that is actually why I haven't posted in a few days. After my weigh in on Friday I was a bit discouraged that I had only lost a pound and a half, when I have been working out and being very conscientious about what I eat. I was really hoping for a 2 - 2 1/2 pound loss. So anyway, Friday and Saturday I cheated big time. Still stayed in my calorie allotment, but didn't eat anything healthy. Chocolate, pizza, and lots of coffee and diet pop. I am paying for it though, I feel awful today. I am definitely back on the wagon.

Crystal- congratulations on your one and a half pound loss....and sorry to hear you were disappointed with that. Don't be- you're going in the right direction! One thing we all learn through this process is patience, and persistence. You had your cheat day, and now are back on the wagon. Welcome aboard ;-)
