Would it be ok to ask for stats?

I'd love to hear about how long everyone has been trying to lose weight, how much they have lost so far, and how close to their goal weights, if anyone would like to share. I began this diet/lifestyle change 2 1/2 weeks ago. I have lost 9 pounds so far. I have 29 to go. :)

Well then I'd say that making the goal of not marrying three times, is highly approriate.


After both their deaths, I found out that my paternal grandparents had divorced and remarried so many times, that in those days....they would not have been ALLOWED LEGALLY to remarry if they divorced.

Well, when I started actively trying to lose weight and get into shape about a year and a half ago, I weighed 150. I am 5'6" and would really like to weigh around 125-130. I currently weigh 137. After my car accident a year ago I dropped down to 128 and was thrilled with that - course the weight loss was mostly because I was in a lot of pain and didn't have much appetite. Don't recommend that!! But during that time I also started walking alot and found that I loved it! Since winter hit I haven't had the opportunity to walk as often and I'm really missing it. And sadly, I've also gotten my appetite back and some of the weight. I workout at home with a variety of workout videos because I get bored doing the same old thing all the time and am trying to get back into the walking habit - I really need spring!!

I'm right about there with Miranda. I'm 5'2" and currently weigh 126 lbs. I was at 131 during the holidays, and lost those 5 lbs. in January and the 1st week of Feb. I am used to being around 124 lbs., but my goal is to get down to 120 and lose another inch from my waist. So, 6 more lbs. to reach my next goal.

My ideal weight is around 135-140 which is what I used to weight up until a few years ago, then gradually I started putting the weight on until I reached my all time high in January of this year.


I am 5'6" and weighed 203.5 pounds on 1/14, since then I have lost 8.5 pounds as of yesterday. So 8.5 pounds in 4 weeks.


What really hit me hard though was that just 6 months ago I was 175. I put weight on very easily and I realize that I just need to get back to having a healthy lifestyle.

Hi Kim,
I have been working out faithfully for the last month. I gained some weight over the holidays. I am 5'5". My start weight was 133 and I am currently 127 so I am down about 6 lbs. My goal is 122. I have 2 weeks left until my Aruba trip so I'd love to get as close to goal as possible!
