My doctor said that after 30, the only way to lose weight is to exercise. Well I never had a weight problem until last year. Just found out I am hypothyroid, which didn't help. Now that I am on meds, hopefully my metabolism will cooperate. I want to lose 20 lbs and my husband is trying to lose 40. I attend yoga classes twice a week for an hour and try to walk a few times a week, usually 3-5 miles.
I am excited to find this forum and look forward to getting to know all of you.

This board is full of interesting people who have different approaches to our fitness and diets, but we all have the same goal of being healthy 30 somethings. I'm sure you will enjoy reading and posting here. I've learned a lot in just a few months.
