Hi everyone!

Thanks to everyone who welcomed me here the other night.
Well, today was my first week weigh-in and I lost four pounds. Yea!!
So, what does my boyfriend get me for Valentine's Day?? A huge box of chocolates. I could have beat him to death with the box. Bless his heart. Okay, I ate like five pieces, (they were sooo good!) but I worked out extra hard this evening (treadmill) so hopefully I didn't put my four pounds back on.
Did anyone see Oprah today?? I don't think she spent enough time with each guest. She should have made it a two-parter or something. Anyone doing the boot camp??

It was a nice thing your boyfriend did, but I know it's tough when we're trying to eat well. My dear knows how hard I am working at it so he has been better about desserts and the meals he cooks when I visit.

He made us such a nice dinner, salmon, asparagus and a mushroom risotto, BUT he made a really nice chocolate cheesecake too. I did had a piece, and it was GOOD. But the leftover cheesecake stayed at DBF's house so that his kids can eat it.

I'm not doing the boot camp. I have too much going on getting ready for my first 5K in May and training 3 days a week at HKD class and working on the challenges here. But I will, and have, look at it to see if there are any good ideas or exercises there for use.

I feel you on this one! My crazy (and evil) husband brought some Krispy Kreme donuts home last night. We used to have a terrible ritual of satisfying our taste for something sweet almost nightly. I had been doing great, but it's that TOM so... Anyway, I'm focused on getting back on track. One slip-up isn't going to dstroy my efforts.

My dear boyfriend brought some more Godiva to work yesterday. I'm kinda used to it. He gets it because his daughter works there, so he brings it in often. Problem is that yesterday there were turtles in the box, big, pretty ones with dark chocolate drizzled over them as a decoration. I guess they aren't that much bigger than the average ones, but I haven't had one if forever. So I ate one. It was really good. He said he was considering not bringing them in, but I said he should if he wants to. I usually don't eat it when it comes and it was my choice.

Fortunately, we have a guy in the office who can really eat the junk food. We had writers in yesterday too, so there is absolutely none left this morning.
