Anyone see Oprah yesterday

It was all about her current weight loss plan that worked. Her personal trainer was on. It sounded very similar to a diet my husband is doing through his health club. It focuses on heavy exercise, a strict diet (low calorie), no alcohol, no refined carbs, and lots of water. Obviously it was a vehicle for Bob Greene to promote his Total Body Makeover Book, but the message was really good.

One thing they stressed was to stop eating 2-3 hours before you go to bed. They picked 7:30 p.m. as a cutoff. After that time, only water or herbal tea but no food. She said that alone can help you lose weight. I have never been a late night snacker, so I find that difficult to believe. It's a thought though.

I didn't see it, but if she is telling you to quit snacking that can't be a bad thing - I'm a horrid night snacker!!
