I noticed quite a few of you love your ellipticals. Since I'm getting back to working out on it, I was wondering if anyone would like to be a buddy with me.

I plan to do 20 min. everyday to start and add 5 min per week to get up to 1 hour most days.

Let me know if you're interested and we'll report in every afternoon.

We can report to this thread so that we're not taking up space with our reports, or we can go to a different section of the 30s board.

I think this is a great idea.....I don't use an elliptical myself, lol! But I'll cheer you guys on. I remember a while back we all went walking "together" it really helped motivate us to do something "together", even though it's all in the mind. Whatever works I say.....

Blah....last night was hell! I was dressed ready to go and got so stinkin' busy. I was kinda mad that I missed out on it. I get grumpy when I have my mind set on something and it doesn't work out...or I don't work out...lol!
I did not get to the gym, BUT I will make it up on Sat AND Sun as a compromise.
Tonight I will lift and do my class.

I've done my 20 min tonight! I say, as long as you exercise, then that's as good as working out on the elliptical.

I alternate my Elliptical with Firm videos and typically average 3-4 days/week of Elliptical. I usually do it while watching a movie, so I do anywhere from 45 to 75 minutes, depending on the movie. If I do the longer time lenght, I do lower resistance. I'll join in on this! I did 50 minutes tonight while watching the first half of I (heart symbol) Huckabees.

Today, I will do about 50-55 min on elliptical and then lift lower body, which I (again) got too busy to do last night. I did do upper though.
So, count me for about 90 min at the gym today.
Tomorrow, I go around 9am and meet a couple friends there, or I will run the four miles (been a while) I usually do when it is nice outside.

I hear you loud and clear...still fighting dh to put the eliptical back in the living room and then last night I had the worst headache. I am planning on some exercise this weekend. One way or another I will get those minutes in!!! Of course my problem will be that I have a TON of work to do this weekend (grading papers and planning) so I will have to really work to make time for the eliptical.

I love the elliptical!

I did 45 minutes this morning using the interval setting. It really wears me out, but in a good way!

My goal for next week is to increase it to 50 minutes.
