I wrote about this in my journal post for yesterday....but I have to post it here too....I can fit into size 10 jeans! I can't beleive I didn't notice how baggy my 12s were! I was very excited. I even tried on several other size 10 jeans of different brands to see if it was a fluke, lol. All but one fit (well, the one that didn't fit was supposed to be skin tight stretchy and super tapered legs...I could get them on and buttoned, but it wasn't a pretty site! LOL). I also bought a new bra...a B cup instead of the C I was wearing. It's official...I've gone down a cup size. I'll be an AA when all is said and done, but there are always padded bras I guess, lol. Plus, I was fitting into MEDIUM shirts, instead of Larges like I was last time I went shopping. :) And my husband went down a size too. He got curious when I found I went down a size...and he tried on some 36 jeans....they fit! He was very happy. :) Yeah! Where is a Howard Dean scream when you need one??? lol

That is awesome. You and your husband should go out dancing one night in your new size 10's!
That's great! I'm hovering between sizes it seems like. If I have a real good food day I can fit and stay comfortable in my small jeans. However, doesn't happen every day.
I went out this weekend and tried to find some jeans. Aargh This is so hard I'm built so weird. I have skinny legs but am huge in comparison around my waste relatively speaking.
I know in high school I fit well in Levis 502s but I can't find them any where now. I'm hoping it's just because I live in Casper, WY and our choices are just limited.
Also, what the heck is wrong with Jordache??? I swear I wear a size 5 times bigger in them than I do in any other jeans.
One thing I have learned about jeans and this may be common knowledge, however, thought I'd share. Have you ever found a brand of jeans that fits perfectly. Then when you go and buy same brand, same size they seem to fit differently??? Well apparently this has to do with where they are manufactured. If you look at the of the jeans that fits you best and it says Zimbabwe (sp?) then when you look at the other pair and it says Uganda (sp?) that is the problem. Always check the tag for where they are manufactured to get the pair that fits best.
Sorry, went off topic a little bit. *blush*
I think going down a size kind of reactivates one to keep on working at everything!

I saw that in your journal earlier- and didn't have time to respond-
CONGRATULATIONS you lucky duck, I'm so proud and happy for you, and your dh too!
*Gretchen, thanks for the note about jeans and where they are manufactured! I'll double check tags in future

Whoo hoo!!!!!!!!!!
Oh that is sooo wonderful. I remember when that happened. I even picked up a size 8 jeans, bought them of course (I was at 10 at the time). Hey, why not. They made me feel good knowing they were size 8, instead of 10. Now, I'm back up to 12's, but I hope to be where you are SOON!!!
Congrats!
AWESOME!!! I love reading your success notes. A bit jealous...but you spur me on!
What plan are you using? Are you following something specific or just watching what you eat etc.?
Ginger
Ginger,
I'm assuming your post was aimed at the OP, not me?
Levi Strauss isn't a large maker of jeans at all anymore.
