2 pounds brussels sprouts, washed and trimmed, large sprouts halved
1 head of garlic, cleaned
1 tbs fresh thyme leaves
1/4 cup olive oil
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper

heat oven to 350 degrees F

Put brussels sprouts , whole garlic cloves, thyme and olive oil together in a bowl.Toss to combineand season with salt, pepper to taste

Empty the bowl into shallow baking pan and roast until tender and edges just start to brown , about 35 minutes

I just use what ever I have on hand. Mostly it is minced garlic and dried thyme. It tastes fine. I also like to broil them on high for a few minutes until they get a bit black. I like burnt veggies because it gives them a sweet taste. But that is just me. Enjoy !!!

That didn't take you long. :) That looks like a great recipe. I am definitly going to try this one. Do most supermarkets sell fresh brussel sprouts? I've always only looked for the frozen ones.

Thanks for bumping. It made me remember how good these are and I am now making these to go with my supper.
Maybe we need to bump more often.

I use a similar recipe with other veggies too like broccli and carrots. I use a lot less oil though, usually a tablespoon for 4 servings. Instead of regular salt I put a blend of season salt on it. Very yummy!
