Deep Dish All Wheat Pizza

This is out of "Whole Foods for the Whole Family" by Roberta Johnson
Crust:
1 T yeast
1 C warm water
1 t honey
1 t salt
1 T olive oil
3 to 3 1/2 C whole wheat flour
Italian sausage:
1 1/2 lbs ground pork
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 t fennel seed
1/2 t chili powder
1 T olive oil
Topping:
2 1/2 C shredded mozzarella cheese
2 C sliced tomatoes
1 green bell pepper, chopped
Sprinkle yeast over water in bowl for crust; let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in honey, salt and 1 T olive oil. Add 2 C flour; mix briskly. Add enough remaining flour to form a smooth dough, keanding until elastic. Press into 9x13-inch baking pan. Let rise for 15 minutes. Brown groud pork in skillet. Add garlic, fennel seed and chili powder. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes; drain. Brush pizza dough with 1 T olive oil. sprinkle with cheese; top with tomatoes, green pepper and pork mixture. Bake at 425 for 20 to 25 minutes. May omit green pepper. Yield: 6 servings. Per serving: cal 591; prot 42g; carb 56g; fiber 10g; TFat 24g; 37% calories from fat; chol 106 mg; sod 592 mg.
***I have not fixed this recipe entirely, but thought I'd post the entire thing. I have only made the crust according to this recipe, and then I add sauce and cheese and toppings such as veggies and maybe some ground beef. It's very good! And not using the italian sausage part of the recipe will lower the calories a good bit. :)

I thought I'd also say that that this crust is great w/ some spices (basil, etc) mixed into it. Also, if you brush the crust w/ some olive oil around the edges it gets crustier. :)
