Welcome Kara!

I checked out the Fitness & Health board a couple of times. There were so many messages posted in one day though. I think the day I looked there were over 250 in one day. How do you keep up?

Problem is, Ladies, you never know when those six/eight weeks will be. We were camping in Petoskey last August, and the first night there we were in jeans and layers of sweat shirts. But by the end of the trip, we had tank top days.

Hi everyone...
I'm going to give a little background so when I write things they make a bit more sense. I had been a runner for years then in the timeframe of 2 years I was in two car accidents. The first while I was running (women neglected to stop at a stop sign and hit me in a cross walk). Then I was driving somewhere and BAM I was in a worse accident thanks to a teenage boy and a cell phone. Both hits were on my left side. Above all else I'm thankful to be alive and have the ability to even walk. I have accepted there will be limitations in what I can do before the pain gets too much, but I can still do a lot. Reading all your postings make me focus on what I can do and not on what I can't.

Oh my hit in a cross walk! That's incredible so glad you made it through both accidents and have such a great attitude towards staying fit despite the complications these accidents must have caused.
