Name: Marie

iVillage Name: Modanogrrrl

Age: 30

Lives in: Lewisville, Texas (about 10 minutes north of Dallas)

Marital Status: Married to my Soul Mate for 10 years

Children?: One girl who will be 8 in May, and, at times, a 30 year old boy.. *lol* Sometimes I think the hubby is more of a kid that our girl is!

What I do for a living: Customer service for Medicare in Texas

Health & Fitness Goals:

When I was in the army, I was a svelte 5'3", 127 lbs, 36-27-36..... nice, lean and muscular without being all ESPN-body builder-ish. I had our kid and let myself go. Now, as I am getting older, I want to get back to my military weight and as close to the same shape as possible by my birthday in August, and by my 32nd birthday I want to compete in a sprint distance triathlon. Exercising has also improved my asthma, and I don't have near the problems with my cartilege-less knee as I used to.... Yay! No surgery! .... yet.....

Favorite physical activity: Sex is definitely a good thing.... : ) I am also partial to running and weights.

What intimidates me: Speakingin front of people, and tests. I'm in school, and it seems that as soon as the test is in front of me, I lose all the knowledge I had learned. I freeze up and become brain dead.

I have been participating on this board for: Off and on for about 4 months....

What I like best about this board: That atmosphere is great and very relaxing.... I don't feel the intimidation of populace weigh ins and what not....

favoredwoman=because I have favor with God and Man

34

SE Texas where 50 degrees is considered cold! LOL

Married for 11 years, yes, to the same man, who is gorgeous inside and out and makes my heart race everytime I'm near him.

2 boys and 1 girl ages 10, 7 and 6 (a direct result from marrying a gorgeous man!)

I work for a local office of a national copier and fax sales and service company.

Health and fitness: Most importantly to be healthy. I do tend to focus a lot on how I look. In clothes I look pretty good but very insecure about my birthday suit and swim suit. With my family's schedule, it's very difficult to have time to exercise at any time of the day. Lately I've exercised at night but I am trying to watch how it affects my sleep etc. I felt so much better today because I did exercise last night. I guess I'm proud of myself for actually doing it when I had every reason not to!

I love my mini trampoline! It's the best $20 I ever spent!

Anything that's "fitted" like swim suits, exersice clothes or shirts that ride too high in the belly area! Yuk!!!

I've been on this board since January 2005

Fresh ideas to try and the great personalities that come through and make me laugh. Oh, and especially Kim. She inspires me to do better and be better by her success.
