Hi Joyce, I'm a horrible snacker, and have struggled to find reasonable snacks so here are a few suggestions:

Wasabi peas (if you don't mind really hot stuff)

Triscuit Crackers

Frosted Mini Wheats

Nuts (like steffy said, these are too yummy, if you buy them in the shell, you are less likely to overeat)

Granola bars (some of them are okay, some of them are loads of

I like trail mix. Now the nuts do get a little high in fat but I find it is the right mix of sweet and salty. I also like to do cheese and wheat crackers.

Here's a couple of other ideas;

Sunflower seeds
Cheese
...look around your local grocery store- there are loads of "low carb" things on the shelves these days. It's going to be a 'learn from experience' though ;-)
Low-carb yogurt
Jello
Fruits

I agree with Steffy! I love those almonds. 15 per day is my limit. When I eat them slowly, one at a time they satisfy me.
Another thing I like is chickpeas. I rinse them off them drizzle a tiny bit of oil on them and sprinkle garlic salt on them. yum

Try protein.

Raw Almonds
Light String Cheese
Celery (salty) with some laughing cow light...

If you have something with protein/fat in it, this will satiate your hunger until dinnertime.

I have a HUGE salty habit... and desire. Found a fix... listen up ;o)

I bought an air pop corn popper and buy fat free butter popcorn spray (Albertson's makes a decent one) when they're on sale ($1 instead of $4) by the case. I then either use regular salt, seasoning salt, cheese mix from mac and cheese... you name it. If I feel the need for protein in the mix, I'll dump in a small amount of almonds and feel 'special'.

It does the trick everytime. I get 'salty, buttery, cruncy' and have done virtually NO damage to my diet. Phew.
