I'm sorry your family is moving away. I know how that feels.

My sis and her husband just moved in Feb. I was able to see them, and my little niece and nephew, each time I was up visiting my parents and other sisters. I don't know when I'll see them next, and they probably won't be able to go on the family camping trip. I was so angry with BIL for moving his family far away again when he didn't have to. He had a decent job up near my family, and his parents too.

Have a good time with them this weekend.

L - Oddly enough BF and I haven't seen much of each other last few days. We're going to have Chinese tonight after my HKD class, and just hang out together. I think I will call my long lost best friend in FL and talk with her for a while maybe Sat.

O - The weather's supposed to be warmer but very wet this weekend, but I will try to get out. Maybe Sun will be better.

V- Gotta go to HKD tonight and tomorrow. The three red belts, Chris, Chris and I, were called out on Tue. by Master Jamie. "(We) know the techniques, but are high ranking now and need to set an example, (we're) not getting stripes until (we) can makes these techniques our own and do them well...." Gotta get there early and practice too.

E - Sounds like a good idea. BF and I will go out on Sat. and I will get up early enough to have something good before church Sunday.

That's pretty much my weekend plan/goals.

Have a good one everyone.

Hey gang,
This is going to be a really nice weekend in South Carolina so I'm taking as much advantage as I can.

L- Love & Laughter
I'll be getting together with an old friend tomorrow morning try and keep up the running that has been going well lately. She is getting over an injury to so it should be a good time.

O- Outside Activity
It is supposed to be beautiful this weekend in SC so all my plans are outside. There is a St. Paddy's Day festival tomorrow and they block off a section of town for the whole day.

V- Vigorous
Tonight I'm weight training/swimming. Tomorrow running. Sunday hopefully hiking.

E- Eating
This weekends goal is to 'shock' my system. Eat fruits and veggies 90% of the time. Need to step up the effort if I'm going to get to my goal.

Have a great weekend gang X:)

We spent last weekend putting up a mamoth play structure for the kids. The project spilled over til wednesday. So this weekend I will be back out there working on the yard and doing some landscaping as well as watching the kids play on the swing set. I don't know if anyone else does this but I tend to eat differently in the summer than the winter. I think it's time to get to the store and gather ingredients for summer recipe's i.e. summer fruit ka-bobs, nonalcohol mint lemonade (julep), melon water (drink), low cal and low fat seafood salads, BBQ veggie ka-bobs, low fat and low cal frozen jello desserts etc. Maybe it's just me wanting to rush summer here. We start BBQing with the neighbors around this time of year.

KERSTIN~ enjoy spending some fun time with your brothers family. Sorry to hear that they'll be moving away....are you and SIL getting on any better these days? Enjoy your pedicure on Sunday!

LORIE~ sounds like you have a relaxing evening planned with BF- enjoy! Hope there isn't too much rain for you over the weekend and that you get some "outside" time. Good luck with your HKD call out- yay for you!!

PATRICE~ (aptree, right?) That's great that you're helping your friend in her recovery. Enjoy your run with her! Sounds like the Paddy's day festival will be a blast-- hope that it doesn't do the :shocking: to your system ;-)

SUNNYHUNNY~ enjoy the work you have planned for the yard over the weekend, and the BBQ that sounds great. Bring on the summer, right on!

So far there isn't anything on the agenda...a good friend of mine has his birthday on Tuesday (I know far too many March people, lol) so we might try and do something over the weekend. There's another couple of friends here from NYC so I want to catch up with them too.

O- Outside Activity
Get out there~ do something outside for at least 30 minutes over the weekend!
My car needs a good wash, we've been hit with Sahara dust over the past couple of days and the car's filthy!! That will take at least 45mins, plus I'll hit the beach for some sunning and swimming.

V- Vigorous
Get that heart pumping~ do something to make you feel good!
Steffy's favorite "activity" comes to mind here....but alas the odds are not all that great for that kind of thing ;-)

I tried to go on a bike ride with SO today but it was too darn cold-only lasted 20 minutes! So I will try again tomorrow-with more layers of clothes on!

This is an easy one! No problem!

Crystal~ hope you're having *fun* with your SO now that he's back home. How cold was it for that bike ride? And don't forget 20mins is better than nothing!!
