Hi, I'm new here and I need a question answered and hope someone knows. When you look at the nutrition facts on a food product(I'm looking at All Bran cereal box ;o) and under carbs it gives the fiber count as 13g and underneath it, it says soluble fiber 3, insoluable 10. What is the difference when there broken down into different categories? Is one better then the other in how they work in your body? Thanks, Jode

Thanks, Kerstin. I've wondered about that myself.

But, you do count the total fat grams and not just the saturated fats, right? I've always wondered if a food heavier on mono or unsaturated fats counts as heavily as those with saturated. For example: avocado? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
