Almost 40 and need to lose 40!!! HELP

Hello! I received the email for the challenge and here I go! I will be 40 in a little less than two years and we all know how fast time slips by. I just joined a gym (yikes) and my first day will be today. I'm excited but really nervous also. I know that the key to losing weight and staying in shape is eating "proper" and exercise! There isn't any magic anything that is going to make my weight disappear and stay gone!
I am almost 5'7" and weigh 175 (slowly rising)! I would like to get down to 135. I need a lot of support and anyone willing to help would be greatly appreciated and I will return the same support. The summer is coming quite fast and I want to look decent in a bathing suit and not ashamed.

Hi, nice to meet you! Yep, the older we get not only does it seem harder to lose the weight but having to work at it all the time. uugh
You'll find a lot of different things around the board to help you out and what might work best for you. I'm still trying to find my exercising niche myself. So good luck and hope to see you around.
