hi, i'm new here, or a lurker rather. this might be kind of a weird question but my hands and feet are always cold. i saw a post that was in regards to eating and their hands or feet would get cold after they ate, mine isn't really that, they are just cold all the time. i have also noticed that even when i am exercising and sweating a lot, my body still feels cool and sort of clammy. i take a lot of spinning classes and if any of you have ever taken those, i'm sure you know, you are dripping sweat by the time you are done so i would find it kind of unusual that my body is still cold. anyway, no big deal, i just hate being cold, i have had my space heater on under my desk all morning and i'm still freezing!

Hi, and first off welcome!

This is a pretty interesting topic-- I often have cold hands and feet, but then I can also go to the other extreme of being too hot (living down in the tropics I guess that has to be expected though!)

My first thought was are you drinking enough water- but see that you are....well you say that's all you pretty much drink- can't remember if you said how much. More or less half your body weight is recommended.

Then I thought circulation, and although you are doing cardio work (spinning is great...) I didn't see if you are doing anything for flexibility. Yoga is wonderful :-)

Also talking to your doctor is something I'd encourage. I see that you have done some tests for thyroid problems, but talk to them to see if there is something else that may be going on. The numbing feeling is NOT a good thing.

Good luck, and keep warm ;-)
