We took my son to Disneyland, and I'm completely exhausted! The good news is I ate very well the whole time I was there...no ice cream on Main St.! The bad new is I got the flu on my last day. The good news is the flu helped a little w/weight loss. The bad news is today when my appetite returned I made up for the lost calories. So all in all, it was a great trip but I'm worn out!

Sylvia! It's nice to see you back. I was wondering where you were! I have heard that Disney land is so much fun, but totally exhausting...so I guess that's true, huh? lol. I feel so bad for you catching the flu that last day...but I'm glad you are feeling better now! It is kind of nice when you have no appetite while sick, lol. Glad you are back! Maybe you can share some pictures of Disney land? :) We plan to take our 3 kids there, for the first time, next year...if you have any tips for us, please share them! And GREAT work eating well while away! That is something to be very proud of!

Whew, what a trip. But lots of good memories I'm sure. We went to Disney World (that's the one in FL right?) for our senior trip. The day we spent at Epcot did us in, a bunch of 17 & 18 year olds, but we were pooped out by the end of that day. We must have walked 10 miles.

Good to see you back.

We went to the one in CA...much closer to home though I would love to go to FL when my DS is older. Advice: you MUST plan everything ahead of time or you will spend you whole time waiting in line. Be it dinner, rides, shows...everything you do requires advance planning. Even getting a simple sandwich for lunch will have you standing in line a long time. Make dinner reservations ahead of time, plan the rides you want to go on and get fast passes when available, call ahead for reserved seating for shows...the Alladin musical in the Hyperion theatre is terrific. Be prepared that everything there is "hurry up and wait." The best part for Mom: the Sephora cosmetic bar in downtown Disney! Yes, there a some rewards for us moms!

Hummm..oops! Don't know how I missed seeing this post yesterday, must have been my excitment of being back on line with you girls, lol!

Glad to hear you had a good time in DisneyLand- it's been YEARS since I've been there. Went to DL in CA when I was about 7, but coming from Ireland it was cheaper to go to FL, so I've been to DW about 3 times, last time was when I was 16 or so. I'm sure lots has changed....but I do remember those lines!

And no ice-cream on Main Street- that's some willpower!!!

Hope you're over that end-of-trip-bug by now ;-)
