TGIF - What's going on this weekend?
| Fri, 04-01-2005 - 10:53am |
Another Friday rolls around, thank goodness! And I even had a short week to contend with, but I'm so happy to see Friday here :-)
Any Spring weather for you this weekend?
Is your weekend looking busy? Fun or mundane?

Any Spring weather for you this weekend? Mmm, not really. High winds today athough it was fairly sunny. I think it is supposed to rain tomorrow.
Is your weekend looking busy? Fun or mundane? Mundane. Ran a bunch of errands today, now catching up online. Tomorrow we are going to MIL's (a 2 hour drive each way) so Jon can help his dad install a new water heater.
FYI-Miranda-I have done the Mystic (spray) tanning. As long as you do a REALLY good job putting the special lotion on the dry areas (elbows, feet, etc) it works great until it starts to fade, then it gets a little splotchy. Which as long as you maintain it regularly shouldn't be a problem. I really liked it for the most part.

Crystal, about that spray on tan....did it look real? I'm thinking of doing that too. I really mostly need help on my legs...does anyone just do their legs? Or would that look really strange?
Kim
WEll I didn't do the spray on tan, but bought some sessions at the tanning salon in the stand up beds, and used some lotion that has the "tingle" factor.
Kim-as long as you don't go too dark (which I did once) I think it looks real. Like I said though, it is darker in areas where you have dry skin, so it is best to exfoliate really good the day before and apply lotion. Also, they should provide special lotion that prevents it from doing that which they recommend placing on your elbows and knees.
Here's a link that talks about it in a little more detail: http://www.mystictan.com/faq.htm
In regards to just doing your legs-I don't think that would work too well.
