Five Food Temtations to Eliminate

Some foods NOT to have around- eliminate these five temptations from your kitchen before the munchies strike!

  1. Fried Frozen: Fried shrimp, French fries, fish sticks, onion rings, and the like. Even if you "bake" them, it's too late — they're already fried!

  2. Frozen Fat: Pizza and similar frozen foods loaded with cheese, meat, and fats.

  3. Snack Attack: Crackers, potato chips, and tortilla chips. Most of these are fried, and even the low-fat versions pack a lot of empty calories!

  4. Sweets: Cookies, candies, and cakes — even the nonfat ones — contain no vitamins or minerals. If you can't stay out of them, don't keep them on hand!

  5. Artery Cloggers: Sausage, bacon, and other fatty red meats

IG, I love that post. And let's see...in my home right now, I don't have any of 1,2, or 3...but #4 would include my handful of m&ms I have left, the fruit chewy snacks I have for my dd's lunch treats (lots of sugar in those), pretzels w/ peanut butter inside (again, for DD snack at school) and probably my hot cocoa, fudgecicls and ice cream are in that catagory too. And I have a bad of #5 too...DH picked up polish dogs yesterday to grill at some point (high in calories...but he gets way more than me) and they are made of pork (yuk).

  1. Fried Frozen: Yep we have french fries, fish sticks, and chicken nuggets. I rarely eat these myself. Mostly they are for the kids as easy stuff they can fix themselves.

  2. Frozen Fat:

Damn girl, what do you expect me to eat? Veggies and fruit and stuff? LOL.

I don't do fried as often, so that's good. Haven't had a filet-o-fish in a long long time. lol. YAY.

The only frozen fat I've eaten is my WW pizza. lol. So, it's a craving I have to give in to, but at least it's somewhat small and better than take out pizza or all that other frozen stuff.

snack attack......keeping it low. lol. Meaning, trying not to eat too much, but still, i get cravings. lol

sweets. now that, i can't do. nope. sorry, gotta have them. BUT I am eating A LOT LESS than I used to. woohoo!

artery cloggers, actually haven't had any in a while. even pulled out the bacon from my club sandwich. lol. i'm trying, i'm trying.
