A Fruit for Lung Health
Breathe easier by munching on fruit for your lungs.
Eating a couple of apples per week could reduce the risk of developing asthma and improve overall lung function, new research has revealed. Apples contain a variety of health-promoting phytochemicals, including quercetin, which may be the reason for the lung-boosting benefits.
RealAge Benefit: Getting the right amount of antioxidants through diet or supplements can make your RealAge 6 years younger.

As a suffering asthmatic this real age tip is perfect for me, and as I mentioned in the above post (eliminate foods) I really need to get some fruit for my kitchen ;-)
Thanks-

Glad to hear that. Apples are one of my families favorites and my youngest has asthma. I'll make sure I push apples on her a little bit more.

Fortunatly, no one in my family suffers from asthma...altho my nieces do. Everyone of us loves apples though...there are always some in our fridge (we like them cold). My favorite apple is fuji ...my least favorite is a granny smith.
