Good alternative to water? I'm getting burned out on water! I try and drink 2 quarts (64 oz) in the morning but need a change in the afternoon. Any suggestions? Thanks! Diane

It's been so long since I had some Crystal light.....I would think that it's a fine idea, however remember to check out the nutrition panel on the back- for sugars, etc...

I know I am probably not in a majority, but I stay away from artificial sweeteners. I don't trust that those no-calorie sweeteners are harmless (splenda included). My mom used to drink crystal light daily...so I remember that drink well. I also don't drink a certain amount of water a day. I just drink to thirst. Have you tried lemon in your water? Or maybe some decafinated unsweet tea? Do you usually drink your water with ice in it? Maybe try it without ice. Maybe even give yourself 8oz of fruit juice in the middle of the day...just to give yourself a treat. :) I do know that I am a little "out there" on many things....I used to be quite the hippy, lol. I also don't trust vitamin suppliments...I just am not convinced that our bodies can actually absorb it if it's not from a natural source.

Thanks for the replies! I don't like ice in my water. In fact, I don't like to drink "cold" water; room temperature seems to go down faster for me. Don't get me wrong, in the dead of summer, I love cold water but when I'm at work and I drink water, I like it warmer. I'll try the lemon; that's a good idea! Thanks!

I absolutely love grapefruit juice; that sounds so good! Question though. I thought juices were higher in calories than Crystal Light! I guess if I drink it in moderation I'll be o.k. Crystal Light has 5 calories per serving and nothing else. I'll stick to a glass or two and then water with lemon for the rest! Thanks again! Diane

Definitely juices are higher in calories.
