Thank you everyone for such a warm welcome. It looks like I started losing again... ok it was only .5 lbs this week but at least its going in the right direction. Heres a little more about me. I'm 31 and on the short side which seems to make me look heavier than I am. I hit my all time high for my weight around Christmas last year and that includes my heaviest during pregnancy. I had been slowly putting on weight over the last 8 years a few pounds each year but couldn't seem to lose it and when I did manage to lose a few pounds they all seemed to come back with a few more on top. Last year was the worst I had put more on in that year than any other I reach 160. Standing only at 5'1'' I was way to heavy. It really started to effect me I wouldn't let myself be in family pictures anymore and I no longer felt attractive. I decided this year I have to make it stop. I want to feel like I can look in the mirror and see myself again. Before I had put on the weight I was around 125 I don't plan to see that agian by I would like to get back to 135 and who knows maybe if I can get there I can get back to the way I was but one thing at a time. So far I have lost 13.5 lbs. Right now my goal is to get to 140. I try to reward my self with something (getting nails done/buying an outfit)when ever I reach a goal or every 5 lbs. I found when I set a long range goal I would get discouraged when I gained a pound or stopped losing. When setting small goals should I get behind I just change the date I want to reach it by instead of quiting. I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with all of you.

That's great progress already
Hey imegansmom, you know figuring out what motivates us is such a trial and error process.
