I found this quote on a quotations site I visit, and I thought that it was interesting enough to post.

I find I only really journal when something is bugging me. Once I took a challenge to look at myself in the mirror every day, naked. Then I was supposed to weigh myself and go journal about how I felt about it. It was supposed to make me come to grips with my body image, I guess. I made it for about 2 weeks, but kept wandering off track. When I went back and read it, I realized that I'm FINE with my body image. It doesn't depress me or make me sick or anything else. I have a reasonably healthy body of a reasonably fit 36 year old woman.
I keep saying I'm going to journal, and I never follow through. Maybe I need to make that a goal, because I do believe it is very important and helpful if you can stay on target and not spend two pages blathering about the kids, what you have to do this weekend, etc.
