So I'm Day 2 back into my workout routine. Consistently staying between 1200-1400 calories a day. Hopefully I can move to two workouts a day as soon as I can manage to get my behind out of bed. HEHE!

So far I'm doing good, I've been drinking a myoplex lite drink for breakfast, eating my largest meal at lunch time and having 1/2 a myoplex lite drink plus some fruit for dinner. So far no hunger pains or wanting chocolate which is unusual since I am due for Aunt Flo.

I also started taking this product called Vemma my friend gave me, it's given me tons of energy, I wish it weren't so darn expensive.

So this week I've been doing slim in 6 trying to work my way up to doing the Tae Bo in the morning as well, that's what worked so well for me the last time, the 30 min tae bo in the AM and the slim in 6 in the evening, Well I did it! I woke up this morning and got out of bed around 4:45 and did my tae bo I feel GREAT! So I'll be able to get in two workouts today.

I'm trying to stay off the scale. I weighed today and I'm the exact same weight as I was sunday which is a little frustrating when I've been doing so well but I'm going to measure on saturday morning so I will I'm sure see some progress in the measuring tape if not the scale.

Hi Sally:

Sounds like you are doing great! What is Slim in 6?

I am trying to convince myself to get up in the mornings and do an extra work-out. I haven't gotten there yet! I am running at lunch time twice a week, though (on my weight training days) to get a few extra workouts in.

I know what you mean about weighing yourself too often. I am only on Day 4 of Body for Life for Women and I weighed myself this morning and haven't lost a pound yet. It's discouraging. Trying to stay away from it until Sunday, now!!!!

Cheers,
Catz.

It's an exercise program that includes cardio and a strength training all in one routine. It's good I love it. www.beachbody.com
I got my girl Cher into it although she loathes it just as much as I do RIGHT CHER???? LOL

I had to work my way up to getting up, I was getting up at 5:40, so every week I'd set my alarm 10 mins earlier, until it was eventually 5 am. Now I feel great!

I'm so proud of myself i just have to gloat.

So all week I've been working out and watching everything I eat and recording on Fitday at home. Even the bag of M&M's that ended up costing me 440 calories who knew that the small bag at the checkout area was so high in calories. It says 220 but it's two servings for the whole bag. OUCHY!

Anyhow, this weekend I had to go to NH for a perm and for Greek Easter.

So saturday morning I woke up early, worked out and weighed and measured for Week 1 results.

I'm down 1 lb (yup lousy but it's the PCOS can't be helped) and 5.75 inches. WAHOO!

Anyhow, I watched everything I ate again, went out for mexican saturday night with my family. Still managed to stay at 1400 calories.

Then Sunday my mom has one of those lateral thigh trainers so I worked out on that for like 10 mins. (more than that I would have been dead LOL) and when I got home recorded all the food I ate at easter, and I was at 1456 calories. Pretty darn good for a holiday if I do say so myself.

So I got up this morning and did my Tae Bo so we'll hopefully see good results next Saturday morning as well.

Slow and steady wins the race-- keep it up Dee! I'm sure sticking to the routine will start paying off soon-- it just might take a little time to start reaping the rewards of your hard work-

LOL I know it's good but it's so frustrating to look at the scale, especially because it barely moves, can you imagine, I'm a size 6 and a BMI of 40 because of my "weight" LOL
I'm not a size 6 I'm jsut imagining the future. LOL
