Cortislim trip.

It's been over a week since I've been on the board. They've really cracked down on us at work to where now, we can't use the internet at all!

Well, the trip to California was AWESOME!!!! In fact, everything went so well that they're inviting us back!!! WOO HOO!!! We had limo service the whole weekend and were taken out to dinner both Friday and Saturday nights. I met Steve, the President of Cortislim and our makeup artist works with people like Sarah, Duchess of York in all her Weight Watcher's commercials and print work and also Suzanne Sommers on QVC. Crissy was so awesome. I'm small busted but with makeup, she gave me boobies! LOL Who would've thought?! I used to model when I was a teenager so it was like riding a bike when it was my turn to shoot. The photographer, Randy, recognized my previous experience and was sooo excited. He was able to just give a bit of instruction and we were done so fast. Later on, when all three of us girls took photos all together, Randy asked me to get them loosened up because it was going to be a "celebration party" scene. It was so much fun. Then, after he was finished with everyone, he asked Steve if he could take more pictures of me! I was shocked. So I got to change two more times for more photos. I forgot how much fun it was to model. We also did an "interview" of sorts while being taped digitally for the commercial. Steve said that I didn't look nervous at all and I was able to give him what he was looking for.

Saturday night, after we were all finished, Steve, Candace, Nancy and I went to an upscale French restaurant. Our bill, on the company's tab, was $272 plus Steve left the waitress a $35 tip! It was awesome. I've never eaten at a restaurant like that before. I could certainly get use to it! LOL Then we went to Laguna Beach to get a cup of sand for my kids. We sat on the boardwalk and brainstormed for the future tapings. We came up with some great ideas, but obviously I can't divulge at this time, but maybe later! We walked along the shore, went up the side of the cliff and looked at the rose bushes that were planted in front of this Mexican restaurant. It was just a magical night. I was driven back to the hotel about 11:45pm but couldn't go to sleep until 2am (which is 4am for my body's time zone!) Sunday morning, I got up and walked a block or so and visited a church that I'd seen up the hill. It rained the whole weekend and going to church was no exception! This nice elderly lady saw me walking home from the church and offered me a ride. It was a much appreciated break from the rain!

I think one of the coolest parts of the whole weekend was getting to really mentally connect with Steve, the Prez. I joking call him Mr. President! LOL Anyway, we worked so well together that he gave me his business card with his personal cell phone number and email so I could contact him when I had more ideas for the next shoot. Wow!!! Isn't that amazing?!

Okay, I'll go for now, but I knew that some of you who've been keeping up with me would want to know how it went,
Ginger

Ginger, I've been wondering how you were doing! What an awesome trip! I'm so glad you told us all about it. So if we see the advertising for Cortislim, how will we know which one you are? What color is your hair and what did you wear?? I can't wait to see! It sounds like it was all so much fun. :) I'm sorry work doesn't let you online anymore...but try to "see" us while you are at home then. ;)

Wow, sounds like you had a great time. I didn't realize you had previous modeling experience. Why had you stopped modeling. Is this something you are hoping to continue to do with cortaslim or other jobs?

These commercials are gonna air nation wide right?

Well, you'll know me because I'm the only brunette among three are blondes (at least in the group picture). How'd that happen?! My dark hair is short, above my shoulders. They took so many pictures and I'm not sure which ones they'll use so here's the list.

Shortest "little blk dress".
Turquois blouse with gold accents when I'm on the motorcycle.
Blue and white top with khaki skort and hot pink high-heeled sandals in the "celebration" pose.

We all put back on our black dresses to do a "party" scene at the end of the day. That's when we did the "after 5 party shot where we're celebrating our success".

They're giving us a years supply of Cortislim and CarbSolve! Woo Hoo!

Oh, and I'm sure when you hear my voice, you can't miss the Southern accent. I'm the only Texan there. Two are from CA and the other girl is from Chicago.

Gretchen, We haven't been given dates on any of it yet but I'll post when I find out. Yes, I modeled locally when I was in high school, pagents, runway, local commercials. I loved it but the agent decided to change careers and moved to Houston. One girl tried to start up a business after Sherry left but, as mean as this sounds--please forgive me--but she was kind of skanky (sp?) and wasn't exactly a professional. What work she did drum up was not my cup of tea. String bakinis and such...she even got one girl to model a thong swim suit at a bar! Ugh, can you imagine?! I'm too modest and have too high of standards for that kind of trash. Anyway, I went to college, got married and had children. Once my body was completely shot, I gave up the dream but then when this opportunity came into my life, I felt my heart start to burn again, ya know? Once I was there and working, it was like riding a bike. I just love it and I'm now on fire again wanting to do some part time jobs in modeling and film. Of course, goofy me was passing out my peronal business cards to them asking if they could hook me up! hahaha There is a small local agency here that I'll look into once I've reached my fitness goals. When I get comfortable with that, I may move on to Houston, which is what the photographer in CA suggested.

For now, what I do know is that we're going back to do more work once they've ran the life out of this last weekend's work.
