Broke down and got a trainer

Hey ladies...
I've been checking in everyday but haven't had much to write...

But today I received in the mail a refund check for $300 and I promptly made an appt with a personal trainer. I swore I would never do that but I've done all I can on my own to make my exercising the best it can be. I need help. I need a boost. I thought buying some new running clothes would be a boost enough but unfortunatly I'm still not running any better and even my swimming is becoming sluggish. So two sessions a week (and one on my own to save $30) until the money runs out.

I know I made the right decision when he asked me how many days I did cardio and when I said 5, he was surprised. That certainly didn't do much for my ego so maybe with a little coaching, I'll actually look like someone who exercises frequently.

Wish me luck. At 6:30am tomorrow morning I'll be taking it to a new level. WEHA!

Wow Patrice, that is wonderful!! How cool to get your own trainer. I think a lot of us would love to do that :) I wish you the best of luck!! I also hope you get to have fun with the exercise. That makes it better.

That's great news Patrice!! As the others have said-- and I'll chime in-- I'm jealous!

I'm sure you'll have a great time getting into things with the trainer, good luck and keep us posted
